We’re delighted to share that Women X Film Festival has been recognised as one of the Top 100 Best‑Reviewed Film Festivals in the World out of over 14,000 globally on Filmfreeway.

We’re incredibly proud to our little growing festival recognised in this way. This accolade is a testament to our amazing volunteers, filmmakers, audiences and local community who make the festival what it is. We’re showing the world that great cinema and a supportive, inclusive environment can thrive right here in Darlington.

Next Friday we’ll be at the Stronger Community Awards in Darlington as we are nominated for the Contribution to the Arts prize, wish us luck!

Thanks for reading, we can’t wait share more years of the festival with you, even if we get knocked down to the 107th festival next month or something…
