Women X 2025: Day 2 🌸

Welcome to the second day of Women X 2025!

We hope you slept well, because we have another bumper day for you today, and let’s hope we’ve left that projector bulb having a drama behind us!

📅 What’s on today?

🍿 In the morning / early afternoon

• Drop‑In Crafts: Reconnecting to Girlhood from 10:00‑14:30. Enjoy some letter writing to younger selves and zine making, we’re putting together a collection for an exhibition and we’d love you to take part!

• The Writers Residency (for Script Competition finalists only) runs 10am‑5pm in the festival lounge.

• Our morning screening is the brilliant Seen But Not Heard (70 min) at 10:30

• At 12:30, an Industry Panel: Women Of The Lens Film Festival (60 min) – great chance to hear from another fantastic fest hosted by our resident yapper and festival director Caris.

 🎥 Afternoon & evening screenings

• At 14:30, two screenings, animation over in Meaning In Motion (60 min) and documentaries in And It’s Personal (80 min).

• United States of Disconnect (60 min) at 16:00.

• Handcrafted – Relaxed Crafting Screening (80 min) at 16:30 – materials provided or bring your own if you like, we have lots of cross stitching to be done!

• Evening: Rooted (60 min) at 18:45, followed by Worldwide Burdens (80 min) at 20:30.

• And there’s the annual Women X 2025 Quiz from 20:00‑21:30 – come test your film trivia & win some goodies, it’s 90s themed and the perfect chance to network!

Extras & tips

• We have two large schedule boards with all locations, and there’s a handy timetable in our printed programmes too so you can make sure you know where you need to be for each screening and event.

FAQs/Reminders

Please remember, there is no access to the Hullabaloo or use of that entrance until 2:15pm as it’s used a children’s theatre before hand.

Got luggage? or just an annoying heavy bag? We can look after that for you at our festival help desk, just ask our team to accomodate.
