Women X 2025: And that's a wrap!
We miss you already...
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Best British Film Winner - BLUFF
Well what a weekend we have had, we welcomed 2,213 attendees across three amazing days to the 6th edition of Women X!
The atmosphere across the festival was beautiful, full of such generosity, connection, and celebration. We tried a few new things this year, and our filmmakers embraced them all with such openness….what other festival has filmmakers yoga?!
And then even when Mother Nature brought heavy rain and therefore unexpected leaks, (not spies) or when our projector decided to be dramatic and blow a bulb, everyone remained gracious and supportive. That sense of community spirit is what makes Women X Fest so so special, and why we love sharing this weekend with you.
If you did attend, please spare us a few minutes to complete this short survey for the BFI who provided us with some funding support this year.
And a little teaser for what’s ahead… next year we’re excited to be opening submissions to feature length films for the very first time! We can’t wait to see the new stories and voices that will join the Women X family.
But for now, give us a chance….to nap.
And finally… a huge congratulations to all of our 2025 award winners!
