SUBLUNAR

We then have four brilliant drama showcases this year, each submission window drama films fill the space and we often struggle to curate them into themes, but this year that challenge was welcomed as we DOUBLED our screenings and were able to programme more short films than ever.

So welcome to the Women X world…

At Sixes and Sevens, Exploring the complexities of relationships and connection between women and men

Beyond Borders, These intimate dramas explore migration, belonging, and what it means to build a life in unfamiliar places and what gets left behind.

Broken Britain, After over a decade of austerity, what does life look like beyond the headlines? From healthcare to education, the cost of baby formula to the absence of accountability, these films offer a window into the lived realities.

Duty Of Care, A compelling handful of films exploring the often unseen responsibilities and emotionally charged involvement in caring for others, paid and unpaid.
