Another HNY Email...

After taking a hiatus from our projects post festival for a well deserved rest, we’re back in action and looking forward to some exciting bits and bobs in the next few months.

🎬 We’re back at the BFI later this month as part of the Woman With A Movie Camera Summit, showcasing some of our award winning short films as well as hosting a presentation on short film festival programming.

🎙The festival podcast will be back with new interviews and exciting industry discussions, catch up on the behind the scenes episodes here.

✍🏻 Our development team are starting work on a brand new project, building our first writers room since 2019.

📺 The team have started previewing short films for the 5th edition of Women X Film Festival, submissions are open until May 1st.

📓 ….And after receiving over 100 applications, we’ll be kickstarting our fourth cohort of our talent development programme RP: Evolve with some really exciting script concepts in February.

While we we may be looking forward to a year of opportunities and creativity, we continue to stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine, we call for their safety and an immediate ceasefire. Our volunteers have marched, taken part in the workforce strike, donated to emergency funds, and written letters to our local MPs and we encourage everyone in our community to take action too, in any way you are able to.
