1 week. So many films. Let’s go 🌸

Women X: It's the final countdown (do do do do, do do do do) 🍿

Hello RPeaPod!

Well doesn’t time fly? Women X returns for our sixth edition in just a week! we can hardly wait.

We’re so excited to be back in our home at the Hippodrome and share our biggest programme yet of carefully curated short films, special family screenings, plenty of exciting panels and events, a merch stall bursting with goodies (the tote bags are all on sale eeee!), and some relaxing drop-in craft sessions if you need a break from the big screen.

Here’s a final little insight into what to expect from our short film programme focusing on our two international strands and our three (yes THREE!!) Northern strands…..

🎥 Among Us: Documentaries shining a light on northern lives and communities including the powerful Clare’s Law from newcomer Phoebe Brooks.

🏡 Homegrown: Films that capture the heart and soul of the North East, from our homegrown filmmakers. With returning Alumni Charlotte Fenton with her newest film on the stages of grief, Please Come Home.

🌳 Rooted: Raw, real, and rooted stories from across the North of England. Including the very Rosemary’s Baby esque thriller drama Borne from Claire Heather Molloy.

BORNE
